Who am I?

I am a father of two wonderful children and the husband of a lovely devoted wife. I work at a local college as their Network Services Manager. I worked for over 10 years in a large global corporation in various technical roles, but I left there for my present position as I grew tired of their corporate culture. I live in rural western NY so there are not a lot of job oportunities for what I do unless you are willing to drive long distances and I am not, but its a nice place to raise a family as long as you can tolerate long winters. We get a lot of people in the area who have lived here for years who complain about the weather all the time. My stance is: If you don't like the weather then move. Stop the whining; sorry got off on a tangent there.

I like technology and I love to give my opinion. I believe thats what my wife appreciates about me the most, ;-). That's why I started this blog. Its an outlet for my desire to write and share my opinions.
